  • Soundcard and speakers

  • Windows Media Player v.6.4 and up.

  • Internet Explorer

  • 36k Dial-up modem or greater


    Using Windows Media Player from behind a firewall
    Firewalls and PC protection software can sometimes block your PC from receiving internet streams. You may need to open additional ports in your firewall to enjoy streamed content.

    Script events in your media player need to be enabled for slide updates. A few seconds into playing the test clip, this text should change. If not, click here to learn how to enable script events in Windows Media Player.

    A Media Player interface should appear above this text. If you press the play button and wait a while, you should be able to hear an Antfarm WM9 voice codec test stream. By hearing the audio, you would be able to experience the audio broadcast.

    If you do not hear anything,
    1. check your audio settings and volume or
    2. seek advice from your network support staff. Your PC may require a codec - which it will automatically attempt to download.

    3.If your network does not allow automatic codec updates, please go to the Microsoft Codec download page by clicking here to download an installation package.
    If the Media Player does not appear at all,
    please click through to the Windows Media Player site to download a new version of the player.
